I agree with this so much. I used to be such a sale-motivated shopper. I acquired some really incredible pieces for great prices, but my closet ended up looking like a hodge podge of disconnected stuff. I wasn't buying things because they were what my lifestyle (or my sense of style) needed. I was buying things because I was dazzled by the money I was saving. It was the opposite of intention.
